Bought for her husband as a travel laptop. Just received today.

Let me say that this laptop is sufficient for some everyday use. This is a good laptop for the price. Fast enough (but not super fast). You do not hear very difficult for me, but then again, I usually carry around a 17 inch Dell. Very nice. Overall very good for surfing and email. Probably really good for a student or a minor in moderation. I am a heavy user and KILL laptop, so I do not think this will finally be aare rough on your laptop. Good information. running out of the box. I recommend though.

Cons:
Installed the software. There are a lot of it! It slows down your computer terrible start.

-It is dirty! I know its restructuring, but at least you could blow up a can of air and the cat hairs and bits of food (in the true sense of the word seriously)! Come on, Amazon! If you buy this, buy some 'canned air to turn off the keyboard and monitor, as it was great! Although a heavy user, Iknow of a laptop before, and that put me too bad. They have to get the key and rub with Qtips Pop.

-Small scratches to the screen. Nothing important, all alone, I would point out why some people are very demanding.

-Packaging/Delivery. No bubble wrap or padding whatsoever. Came in a large cardboard box (like a normal laptop) hold, but only on board in position and wrap skrink to prevent scratches. Without spacing between the keyboard and monitor. NoProtection at all (apart from the plastic bag over incase it was raining outside). The box has not been compromised, but if they were, are on what could have happened. By the way, FedEx left out on my porch (in 95 degree heat) when they responded to my door (did not even have a signature, I think), so make sure your address for delivery otherwise someone could be moved your with your new laptop. : /

At first I was pleasantly surprised / Planet73 jump away as fast as my laptop from Asus, which was also delivered within the estimated delivery period. This is an excellent balance between price and performance of Asus, which is known for the products reliability and robustness. It 's a huge step up or directly in almost all the specific features and services, compared to 12.1 "laptop I'm Old Faithful, is no heating problems calmly. I'm not a player, then a large hard drive and Windows 7 works for me! most people could notEncounter this situation, I am left handed. This is a cumbersome arrangement of buttons for a leftist, and the power cord. When you plug the power cord into the back left of the laptop, my right hand accidentally touched the DVD button on the right side for stability. Of other peculiarities, is a keeper!

I am a thrifty buyer and a bit 'techy - I'll put a Linux partition on it.
Refurb $ 365 shipped - no indication why it was renewed.
I've never owned an ASUS so far I like it very much. touch pad is a bit 'sensitive - :-) - but smooth, which is integrated in the body. The two-finger scrolling and three finger menu is nice, but the pad will take some getting used to.
The touchpad is sensitiveThe buttons are big, which I like the keypad is a great bonus that I like.
E 'wide, like 17 ", the screen appears larger than your average 15.6". Good resolution. The battery life seems long, but we'll see.
E 'lighter than my last Dell.
This is also my first run with the operating system Windows 7, so a little 'getting used to and take.
WiFi is fast and strong, because Wireless-N - long distance, data rates higher.
Easy setup, many options, looking very thin.
I would recommend this laptop for those looking for a laptop at affordable prices.
I use it for work / school (I am a PhD student).
For what you pay for this thing is a bargain.

I love my computer, a laptop that is amazing. my son to wipe out the last. I told my husband I wanted a laptop. BestBuy also the guy said it was one of the best. These are some of the other stores and nothing was the WOW factor for the price I'm still needed.i play with him, but everything is on my finger tips.well let me play with him.
